The 3 Minute Gratitude Journal for Kids

Happy Bibliotherapy Thursday! Last week we featured a newly released gratitude journal for moms. And as every mom knows, if your kid sees you doing something, they’ll almost assuredly want to join in! That’s where The 3 Minute Gratitude Journal for Kids comes in handy.

Each page has a spot for kids to write the date, three things they’re thankful for, make note of a person who brought them joy today, emoji faces to check in with their emotions, and a space to write or draw about the best part of their day. There are also extra pages sprinkled throughout where kids can explore acts of gratitude. Beyond simply a fun activity to keep your kids occupied, getting them started with gratitude journaling can be an invaluable way to introduce the idea of checking in with themselves and getting in touch with the things that bring them comfort and joy. Teaching mindfulness skills like these early on can go a long way toward preparing children to handle life’s challenges as they grow.

You can find The 3 Minute Gratitude Journal in print on Amazon.
